I put together this chart, as I wanted to see just how dominant Juventus were last season, especially compared to Napoli and Inter, who will both be attempting a threat for the Scudetto this coming year.
The vertical bars show the points lost or gained versus Juventus by either Napoli (bright light blue) or Inter (dark blue) each week, and the lines represent the running points deficit behind Juventus for each (same color scheme). The red/green is just a reminder of points lost or gained weekly, it has no bearing on the line chart portion (right axis).
As can be seen, around the 34th week, it looks like Juventus really stopped being invested in winning points, as the league title was in-hand.
It should be a more interesting race this coming season, although I still expect Juventus to dominate the league, and focus on the CL.
